Synopsis
Elizabeth, a modern woman of the 20th century, and her two children, William and Lilly, are caught up in the devastating recycling of the planet Earth. For several weeks they struggle to survive because their modern world has ceased to function.
They are eventually forced to run into the night, fleeing their home from an unknown enemy, when they are rescued by three ancient life forms known as the Cetir. These three cetir guardians were sent to find and protect the three of them, as Lilly and William are to important to the next age.
The group travels across vast continents, with the guardians leading the way, and learns a real history of the planet, the full extent of the recycling devastation, and their true situation.
They travel to the cetir realm where they begin learning the skills needed to lead wisely in the next age and meet up with others just like them. Unfortunately, there are other powerful forces that wish them all dead, and there is violence and pain as they forge ahead in this new life.
Elizabeth eventually learns her true role in the forging of the next age after dark forces try to corrupt her. She and her guardian Arias break the rules governing the relationship of the cetir and the human race. The two of them face the good and not so consequences of fulfilling an ancient prophecy.
