About the Author

Benjamin Hirsch is a child survivor of the Holocaust who escaped Europe and came to the United States. He was educated in Atlanta, Georgia, and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. An award-winning architect, Hirsch and his wife, Jacqueline, have four children and twenty-one grandchildren.
