If you research the life of Martin Luther King Jr. you might find references to a time in his childhood, perhaps when he was still known as Michael and that it was rumored he had attempted suicide.Years later in Memphis he shared his vision with the world. "I've been to the mountaintop," he declared, "and I've seen the Promised Land."He asked his listeners to carry on with faith, even if they had to do it without him. He shared with them his very personal belief that if he could be given the opportunity to stand in heaven and choose the time and place he would most like to live, he would want to travel through the ages to watch Lincoln and the great Martin Luther and the builders of Rome and many others.
