Dr. Randy Frid is the Founding Director of the Canadian Institute of Knowledge Management Research and has participated in the design of global knowledge management systems for organizations like AT&T, Credit Suisse First Boston, Deloitte Touché and various government entities. He has a long and distinguished career solving real-world knowledge management problems for major organizations.Dr. Frid has held prestigious positions as Principal Scientist for a Microsoft subsidiary (specializing in Enterprise Portal Architectures), and as CIO of the multi-billion dollar NRS Block Brothers Real Estate Company (that also owned Century 21 and Red Carpet chains), and as President of its sister company Prophase Systems.
