About the Author

Harold Renshaw got his formal education from several colleges, including Immaculate Conception Seminary College and the University of Missouri. He earned a Masters Degree from the latter.He taught elementary school, worked in welfare and child protective services in Iowa before he ventured into working with families and couples. He has been a therapist, a supervisor, an agency administrator and college teacher. Harold is happily married to a Betty and is grateful to her for her patient teaching even when she doesnt know shes doing it.He has written a book for workers in residential treatment facilities, Caring for Kids (Reasearch Associates, 1981), Precision Parenting (self-published, 1972), Taming Your Inner Jackass, a book on anger management (Great Unpublished, 2000.)
