Synopsis

In this mystical fantasy, Kora, a passionate young woman of the People, struggles with her spiritual nature in the prehistoric rainforest of Central Africa. In that lush tangled paradise, her bold sexuality is challenged by the angel Riam, who comes to accelerate the evolution of human consciousness. Because of her unique visionary powers, he chooses Kora, incarnating as the Man to become her mentor and lover. Through intense stages of seduction and abandonment, Riam initiates Kora into the mysteries of the heart, subjecting her to disturbing erotic visitations from a supernatural lion she calls the Beast. Estranged from all that she loves, Kora is excited and frustrated by her transcendent experiences with the angel and the magical gifts he gives her. Once the mask of her tribal persona is lifted, she must create a new life grounded in Spirit and compassion. The destiny of humankind lies in the balance as Kora seeks the transformation that will advance and heal the People.
