About the Author
Miranda Smith has written and edited information books and articles for children and adults on a variety of subjects. Like the children she writes for, she likes to explore and find out about new things.
Jenny Wren is a freelance Illustrator who lives and works in Lichfield, Staffordshire. She mainly undertakes children's book projects, and has worked for Igloo, Parragonand Caterpillar Books. Xuan Le is an illustrator based in Saigon, Vietnam. She likes to work in digital, and practical formats, combining strong colours with eccentric details, mixing past, future and surreal worlds together. Max Rambaldi draws mostly with my graphic tablet, but loves the freshness of watercolors and the mellowness of the acrylics, so always tries to incorporate them by using textured brushes. What she loves more than anything is scientific children books. Juan Calle is former biologist turned science illustrator, trained on the Science Illustration program at UC Monterrey Bay.
