This unit uses "School for Dragons" as a selected title from fiction genres across the primary range as recommended. It is part of a series which provides multiple copies of the book for group reading. Also included is a teacher's resource book which contains lesson plans for using the texts within the Literacy Hour structure and photocopiable sheets for pupils. Lessons are organized under the headings of whole-classwork, group work and plenary. An overview grid provides at-a-glance information about the word, sentence and text-level covered. Each teacher's book has an A1 double-sided, text-based poster for use for whole-class teaching.
