Synopsis
This mint, excellent book, which has become a classic in its own right, is a real gem. I am finding hard to resist taking it apart and building the planes myself! This is the true First English Edition paperback, Grafton, London, 1988, with glossy pictorial covers. The book size is 10Ów x 13Ó h with 135 pages. The following planes can be built, the Blackburn, The Morane-Saulnier, the Fokker DRI, The Fokker EV/DVIII, Siai-Marchetti, Ryan NYP, Schleicher Rhonadler, Fairy Long Range, the Avro and the Hawker Hart. The is a dedication on the front endpaper. ISBN 0-586-20291-9. The standard of draughtsmanship is very high and the illusion of the curvature of the planes is created by the subtle airbrushing of the cut out pieces.
