David I Bainbridge is a barrister, chartered civil engineer and member of the British Computer Society. He is currently Reader in Law at Aston University, where he teaches information technology law, intellectual property law and criminal law. He has researched in the field of data protection for the European Commission and is widely published in the academic field.
