This research note examines bivariate interpolation and approximation schemes via Boolean algebraic methods. The authors investigate interpolation projectors in Banach algebras of continuous functions and define tensor product operators by the method of parametric extension. Right invertible operators are used to establish remainder representations. Other areas covered include applications given to bivariate polynomial interpolation and periodic splines; and a Boolean algebra of bivariate Fourier partial sum projectors is constructed and their approximation properties are investigated. It is aimed at graduate students and professional mathematicians working in approximation theory, numerical analysis and Fourier analysis. The book should also be of interest to those involved in engineering, physics and chemistry research.
