Synopsis

Concordancing is a way of processing written text which makes it easy to analyze and it is a useful tool for teachers and students. The book explains the techniques of concordancing and suggests ways of using it in the teaching of vocabulary, grammar and literature. Sample activities are included. The book is divided into six chapters, each of which is sub-divided into smaller units and there is a section on "do it yourself concordances".
