Synopsis
The New Edition of the Longman First Certificate Course
provides a full language course together with practice in all the skills needed to pass the examination. It follows the structure and format of the previous edition while at the same time providing:

¥more emphasis on functional language
¥warm-up exercises and more variety in the presentation of texts

As with the previous edition, the Course contains 30 units, with each unit focusing on one of the five examination papers, and has a cyclical structure with the main grammar and themes being cycled three times. Recent changes to Paper 5 Interview arc fully incorporated.
