Synopsis

Noble women of the Bible also functioned in God’s service in one capacity or another. This is what 'ministry' is — serving the Lord. This book looks at all the notable women of the Bible and how God used them. What about the fivefold ministry (Ephesians 4:11-13)? Can women serve the Lord as evangelists, teachers or pastors? What's the Bible say? Why can’t women serve in God’s kingdom and be ministers? After all, were Aimee Semple McPherson and Kathryn Kuhlman in gross sin by serving as healing evangelists, reaching millions? Obviously not. This topic is important because there are sincere believers in the body of Christ who question the legitimacy of women in ministry and base their disapproval (or agnosticism) on a couple verses in the New Testament. “Women in Ministry” starts with what theologians call the ‘Genesis curse,’ which is where some sincere believers get the idea that God ordained men to “rule over” women. Is this so? Can a CURSE be a blessing or a moral command, a law? Find out what the Holy Scriptures REALLY teach on this vital subject!
