The poems and quotations are from some of the most acclaimed war poets of all-time as well as contemporary poets who wrote poems for specific images. Each is combined in this coffee table book with a photograph of one of America’s great symbolic tributes to veterans including Arlington Cemetery, the Marine Corps War Memorial, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, the World War II Memorial, the Korean War Memorial and many others. The book includes three, fold-out panorama images.
