Synopsis

Afraid of making mistakes and not feeling good enough? Feeling like you're playing small? Struggling through transitions or loss? Pretty sure you’ll never be fearless enough to live the life you really want even though life is speeding by? Vikki Spencer started a Friday tradition to show up each week on social media and tell the truth about life and work. The intent was to work through fear that kept her life small and hidden. Little did she or her friends know it would begin a profound season of over thirteen losses in two and a half years. Every Friday became a challenge of fearing just a little bit less and showing up while allowing life to fall apart and unfold at the same time. Fear Less Fridays offers short edited social media posts (notes) written through a series of life transitions including divorce, death, friendships parting, job loss, and empty nesting. Each chapter's story encourages deep acceptance of life on its’ own terms and rethinking what really matters. Sometimes seasons of life are out of our control. The battle cry to fearlessness may feel impossible when facing immense doubt and loss. Learn the practice of fearing less to find just enough hope and resilience needed for taking one day at a time. If you're facing fears let this book walk beside you as you find life through grief, loss, adventure, and love. Spoiler alert: Joy, hope, and serendipities await those who keep showing up to their life.
