Fortin deftly combines fictional characters and people he served with in the United States Army. Redeye Fulda Cold takes the reader to conversations with these people and takes them to the very places once occupied by the 3rd Armor Division’s Military Community in the late 1960s. The chain of events unpack a series of carefully crafted CIA military operations; which thwart the Russian invasion of West Germany through the infamous Fulda Gap.

About the Author

Bill Fortin served in the United States Army, 3rd Armor Division, from April 1968 to April 1970. Retired from Bell Labs in 2001, he is currently the CEO of IBS, Inc., an international marketing and systems engineering company. He holds a Masters Degree in Management Sciences from the University of Baltimore. A native of Maryland, he and his wife Judy reside in the rolling hills of Westminster, with a host of furred and feathered friends.
