In the hospital, he begins a lifelong struggle with misdiagnosis by psychiatrists and their use of psychotropic drugs, as they refuse to accept the underlying cause of his problems.

Is the United States Federal Government experimenting on the author? While patients with mental illnesses often believe this, in this case, there is a persuasive argument that points to government involvement.
