About the Author
Roxanne Modafferi is a professional Mixed Martial Artist, author, ESL teacher, and reporter. Contestant on The Ultimate Fighter Season 18, known as the Happy Warrior, she lived in Japan for eight years before returning to the USA to fight in the UFC and Invicta FC.
