The Loose Canon has a long history. Some contributions date back prior to the Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster. In 2010 The First Edition of the Loose Canon was published as an online only document. This version was lacking existence in physical form. In January 2014 Loose Canon Complete Second Edition was published in physical form but had struggles with various legal issues. On February 5, 2018 all these legal issues were resolved. Later in 2018 Cardinal Fang took it upon himself to publish The Pastafarian Loose Canon but Loose Canon Complete Second Edition, though not as popular is still the first version of the Loose Canon to be printed in physical form.
For the entire month of April, May, and June 2025 Loose Canon Complete Second Edition is on sale $7.85. After that, Loose Canon Complete Second Edition will go off the market indefinitely. The Loose Canon Complete Third Edition by Cardinal Fang and Mark C Pastafar is set to be the standard moving forward.
