About the Author

Ben Rolphe was an Air Force Pilot and flew twenty-five combat missions during the Korean War. He later was motivated to become active and participate in the Air Force Reserves in 1964. Over the years he had many opportunities to fly some great airplanes, but never was able to fly another Invader again after his 25th mission over North Korea. In his opinion it is still one of the greatest and most challenging aircrafts ever built.
