Synopsis
Follow Arthur on his quest into the forbidden city . . .
Arthur has vanished, or so his family thinks. If they only knew he was in the back garden, where he has been magically shrunk into the miniature world of the Minimoys.
It is a world of danger and excitement, where Arthur, helped by the fiery Princess Selenia and her mischievous brother Betameche, has a difficult quest; he must rescue his grandfather, find lost treasure and save the kingdom of the Minimoys.
But the answer to his quest lies deep within the garden at Necropolis, a forbidden city ruled by the evil wizard Maltazard. And to reach it, Arthur must cross a vast world of fierce battles and terrible monsters.
And once you have found the forbidden city . . . will you ever return?
This in the second book in the Minimoys series by the acclaimed writer and director Luc Besson. Both books are being made into a film, released in 2006.

About the Author
Luc Besson is the award-winning writer/director/producer behind such movies as The Fifth Element, Nikita, Léon and The Big Blue. Arthur and the Minimoys is his first novel for young readers, soon to be followed by the sequel, Arthur and the Forbidden City. He is currently working on a film based on both books, which will be released in 2006.
