Television and radio personality, author, journalist, chef, Liberal MP, grandson of Sigmund Freud, he is, in his spare time, patriarch of the talented Freud family. Clement has written a range of well-received non-fiction and children's books including Grimble (1967), Below the Belt (1983), The Book of Hangovers (1981) and The Gourmet's Tour of Great Britain and Ireland (1989). He lives in London and Suffolk with his wife Jill.
