Jeremy Spake is a Traffic Supervisor for Aeroflot at Heathrow and star of the BBC documentary, Airport. In Jeremy's Airport, the immensely likeable Jeremy provides an insight into a seven-day shift with a day-by-day account. Starting with a short autobiography, Jeremy explains how he came to speak fluent Russian and the steps that took him to his job with Aeroflot at Heathrow despite his 110 mile commute! Jumping from one problem to the next Jeremy Spake explains the behind the scenes activities of the airline with enthusiasm and humour. From difficult passengers to missing bread rolls, Spake solves the problems he encounters with charm and ease. He also introduces several of his colleagues, bantering with them in his inimitable chatty style and at the same time giving a valuable insight into how the wheels of Heathrow turn and the people that keep them moving.
