Synopsis
Educators have long known that many students rely on their sense of sight to take in information. When these children see information, rather than just hearing it, they are more likely to understand and remember what is being taught. These students are called visual learners. Many children fall into this category, especially those that are dyslexic or those that have an auditory processing disorder. Visual learners often have a hard time memorizing the multiplication facts. They understand the concept of multiplication, but are unable to easily remember the times tables.
