Carl Schmidt studied Zen Buddhism and Eastern philosophy in Japan where he began a lifelong practice of meditation. In 1978 he was drawn up and out of his body and found himself standing face to face with Paramahansa Yogananda and Jesus. In this singular moment he discovered the utterly transcendent nature of all life. Carl has also written and recorded two musical albums, Delight and Mystical Voyager
