About the Author

Joseph R. Garber was the New York Times bestselling author of the thrillers Rascal Money, Vertical Run, In a Perfect State, and Whirlwind. He was a columnist for Forbes and wrote literary criticism for the San Francisco Review of Books. A well-known business analyst, Garber served on the board of directors of a number of companies. He died in 2005.
