From the Inside Flap

dinosaurs and one tiny island add up to a problem that needs to be solved in this lively introduction to addition. As the zany dinosaurs swim back and forth between two undersized islands, children learn the seven ways to make six as well as the basic concepts of addition. And once they have enjoyed the story, children can practice what they've learned with the colorful punch-out dinosaurs, workmat, and fun-filled activities that come with the book.
