In this sequel to the first volume "That does not happen every day", Johannes Rath continues to write about the wonderful, strange and unexpected ways of God's dealing in people's lives from his experience as director of "Haus des Heils" (House of Healing). His own life, as he described in one vignette in the previous volume, and refers to in both volumes in one way or another, is truly a series of miracles. He tells about spiritual, mental and physical healing in the lives of people. These are true stories about repentance, recovery from addictions, marriages made whole again, and God's intervention in the gamut of human failures and afflictions. In all this, Johannes gives credit and glory to JESUS alone. His life's motto is: To God be the glory!

Johannes Rath was director of "Haus des Heils" at the time he wrote this book with co-author Kurt Quadflieg. Seriously injured in a traffic accident as a teenager, Johannes promised God that he would serve him, if he survived and would find him. God graciously restored his health, he came to faith, and eventually became a successful banker. The time came when he felt the Lord's gentle nudging to serve him full-time. When the opportunity arose, he stepped out in faith and assumed management of "Haus des Heils". During this ministry he saw many miracles, people healed in body and soul, a few of which are told in this book. At the present time, Johannes along with his wife Martha, son Timotheus, and daughter-in-law Sandra serve the Lord with their own mission, "Friede mit Gott" (Peace with God). They live in southwest Germany.
