Synopsis
PRIVATE EYE SEEKS CASES Mickey Sharp knows teenagers have loads of problems - after all, he's fourteen himself. And he knows they don't have much money to pay anyone to sort them out, so he sets himself up as a cut-price private eye for teens. His first client is the gorgeous Madeleine. She thinks her little brother is being bullied at school and she wants Mickey to investigate. Despite the minor irritations of arguing parents, Maths homework and having to infiltrate a school for which he has the wrong uniform, Mickey sets out to solve the case...

About the Author
A secondary-school English teacher, Dominic has lived and taught in Liverpool, London and Dorset. He is currently taking a sabbatical to concentrate on writing full time. SHARP STUFF, his first book about teenage detective Mickey Sharp, published in Corgi in January 1999, was shortlisted for the Branford Boase Award for first novels. Author lives- Corfe Castle, Dorset
