Although developed by the Church of Scotland the series has been designed for use in any church. For each set of leaders’ notes in each age group there is a corresponding set of activity papers to be used by the children.

'INSIGHT' is a learning programme for the 'whole' Church. It incorporates learning resources for use with children, teenagers, young adults, adult learning groups, intergenerational groups and church holiday clubs for young people. Its focus is the community of faith, people of all ages engaged in worshipping, learning and serving God together. The programme offers a wide range of learning modules for each of the constituent groups and encourages congregational leaders to identify the needs of their people and to construct their own parish education programme on a 'pick 'n' mix' basis.

''Insight for Children'' offers a series of learning modules for use in the Sunday School and other children's groups. These are arranged in three age bands, 4-5 years, 6-8 years and 9-11 years.
