This book explains to you the steps to use AutoSurf to create 3D wireframes from which you can make various kinds of surfaces, compose 3D surface models, prepare engineering documents from the surface models, and inter-operate AutoSurf surfaces with AutoCAD Designer solids and AutoCAD native solids. There are six chapters in this book. The first chapter explains how surfaces are constructed in the computer. In the second chapter, the book guides you to constuct a set of 3D wireframes for making surfaces. Then, in chapter three, the book delineates the steps to construct surfaces by using the wireframes constructed in chapter 2. In Chapter 4, it provides additional practice of the skills covered in Chapters 2 and 3. AutoSurf is one of the two components of Mechanical Desktop.
