Synopsis
This workbook uses the latest technology--computer algebra systems, spreadsheets, and symbolic and graphing calculators--to help students discover new applications for calculus while becoming proficient users of these tools. Care is taken to discuss the inherent limitations of technology and to encourage its intelligent use. This text is the product of the Oregon State University Calculus Curriculum Project and was initiated by special funding from the National Science Foundation.
