A comprehensive coverage of the design process via real world case studies and design problems are detailed in this text. A major feature is "Spreadsheet Applications For Geotechnical Engineering" by Thomas F. Wolff. This ancillary contains spreadsheet templates on disk in both Lotus 1-2-3 and Borland Quattro Pro formats, plus a print component containing instructions for use and student exercises.
