Review

"?this is an outstanding text that clearly fits well with CSWE guidelines and is current. The authors introduce a wealth of important material to students through the PREPARE and IMAGINE process." "Kirst-Ashman and Hull balance coverage with feasibility, with the resulting text being thorough yet readable. One of the reasons they are able to do this so effectively is their use of examples of concepts, often in boxed highlights form. These examples provide yet more content in that they are carefully selected to illustrate various aspects of social work practice, while also reinforcing basic theoretical concepts presented in the text."
