Morris Hein is professor emeritus of chemistry at Mr. San Antonio College, where he regularly taught the preparatory chemistry course. Scott Pattison lives in Muncie, Indiana, and is a dedicated teacher of general, organic, and biochemistry at Ball State University. He has been co–author with Morris Hein since the third edition of Introduction to General, Organic, and Biochemistry.
Susan Arena currently teaches general chemistry and is director of the Merit Program for Emerging Scholars at the University of Illinois, Urbana–Champaign.
