SIGNED and inscribed 'Compliments of Louis A Gottschalk' by author on first free endpaper (no personalization). Stated 1st edition, no number line (1st printing). Edgewear, small closed tears, and rubbing to the dust jacket. 96 p. Audience: General/trade. Book essentially as new. The late author was a neuropsychiatrist who came to prominence by announcing that Reagan had been suffering cognitive deficit as early as 1980, based on the Gottschalk-Gleser scale analysis of his speech pattens in the 1980 and 1984 presidential debates. This is the only novel by the author of 'Content analysis of verbal behavior: new findings and clinical applications' and 'World War II: Neuropsychiatric Casualties, Out of Sight, Out of Mind'.
