Synopsis
It is 1620, and you and your parents are about to emigrate from England and sail to the New World to avoid being persecuted for your religious beliefs.This interactive series will enthrall young and reluctant readers (Ages 8-12) by making them part of the story, inviting them to become the main character. Each book uses humorous illustrations to depict the sometimes dark and horrific side of life during important eras in history. It will be a long and hazardous voyage, and not everyone will survive, but you and your fellow Pilgrims will have a special place in the history of the United States. This new extended edition includes a map and a timeline, and a selection of exciting facts about the Pilgrims and their voyage.

About the Author
Peter Cook has been drawing cartoons, illustrations and other creative projects professionally since 1986. He has illustrated and/or co-authored nine books. When not at the drawing table, he's a principal at the creative design firm Doodletronics. He lives in Toronto with his wife, son, and miniature Australian Shepherd, Photon.
