I am glad to have this book available in paperback so more children can enjoy it. Whether your child is a beginning rock hound, picking up pebbles in the playground, or more seriously involved with a rock collection, this book will help them learn more about how rocks are formed. Rocks seem unchanging, but rocks are being created and undergoing change all the time. My interest in rocks grew as the piles of rocks in my house grew. You see, I am married to the world's biggest rock hound! I hope you enjoy my book!
