Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. 204pp, illustrated, sellotape stain to front blank page, front flap of dust wrapper also has small tape stain, faint foxing to top edge and couple small spots of foxing to fore edge, back ground colour of dust wrapper has faded but title still clear, rubbing to tips of spine of dust wrapper, overall neat clean copy. This copy belonged to conductor and composer Cyril Ornadel. He was best known for his work in musical theatre but also composed music for films and television. He was also an avid book collector and this book was a gift from his son which included signed inscriptions from both authors. "To Cyril Ornadel with my warmest regards Michael Langden" and "Cyril, another one for the collection! With love and best wishes from the 'witty' half of the authorship Richard Fawkes December 1982" On front blank page is "2nd Dec '82 To my very dear Dad, wishing you a very happy Birthday, with all my love , Dan.".
