"This work is a complete catalogue of the Anglo-Saxon fabric surviving in the churches of England. Part 1, a short introduction, is a survey of pre-Conquest architectural features and the reasons for designating them as characteristically Anglo-Saxon. Part 2 is the catalogue. In it each church is described in turn, in alphabetical order of parish names.

Volume two has a slight sunfade but is also very clean. Slipcase show wear and rubbing all long the corners and edges, modest rubbing to covers. otherwise still clean and presentable.
