Jones of the Directives of Adalhard, 753-826, the Ninth Abbot of Carbie, and with a note by A. Hunter Dupress on the Significance of the Plan of St. Gall to the History of Measurement. Illustrated throughout. White cloth boards with red leather title boxes along spine. Shelfwear: light scuffing along edges and cover boards, some light smudges on cover boards, silver lettering along spines of all volumes are faded and rubbed away, red leather title box on volume I is torn and becoming detached, heavy water damage on the rear cover of volume I, some light tanning and foxing. Otherwise, volumes are tightly bound, no marks. Set is in Very Good condition. Volume I is in Fair condition. Seller Inventory # 53457
