Revolt of Greek Cities in the Propontic region(i. E. On the shores of the Hellespont, Propontis, and Bosporus), which had received news of a dis aster to the Persian arms in Scythia.
Darius returns to Asia by way of Sestos in the Thracian Chersonese, the Byzantines having destroyed the bridge on the Bosporus.
