Excerpt from Australian Poems
Some years since on having a small collection printed in aid of St. Augustine's Church, Unley, so much success attended that undertaking that I am encouraged to help forward another worthy object.
The Lord Bishop has kindly permitted me to dedicate the book to him, and I trust that its publication will be attended with success.
