Quo iure hoc etiam de Sallustio dici possit, nunc per quirere eonabimur. Praemonere autem hoc liceat: Quamquam multa nobis occurrent. Quae non modo ex Thucydide sed etiam ax alia quovis Graecornm petere scriptor poterat, tamen omnia haec ad solum Thucydidem referre non dubitabimus, cum et Sallustium hnno sibi scriptorem prae aliis elegisse ut exem plum constet et talia plerumque aliis sustineantnr, quorum origo Thueydidea non potest esse dubia.
