It is covered outwardly with a sort: of shaggy hair, and within the hair with a hbc wool equalling the most delicate merino. - The whole 13 as white as milk.

It appears to resemble almost exactly the ﬂeece brought by captain Lewis from the Columbia river, and described by George ord, esq. In the Journal of the Academy of natural sciences in Philadelphia.
