The sanzay nature of the soil makes it unsuitable [for small grains and grasses; thus the farmer is obliged to resort to truck farming.
The distance from the markets pre cluded truck raising as a crop to be depended upon till the quantities pro ducea were large enough to justify refrigerator cars in train loads. It will doubtless happen that crops other than berries will be handled upon the same plan.
