About the Author

Peter D Campbell, B.A.(Hons), is a professional translator. He has worked as a translator since 2005 for Russia’s largest translation companies on some of their biggest projects. His work has included a translation of an encyclopaedia, development plans for the Sochi Olympics, exhibition notes for the State Hermitage Museum, documents for the International Polar Year, St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Gazprom and many other leading organizations. Peter speaks fluent Russian and reads Latin and French. Peter learnt first year university Latin in six weeks and learnt to read French studying an hour a day for two months. Peter has over five years experience teaching English at all levels including training translators. The techniques in this book bring together his experience learning and teaching languages and working as a professional linguist.
