Soft cover. Condition: Near Fine. No Jacket. 1st Edition. Privately published by author in New Zealand in 1998. Soft cover, so no Dust Jacket. Book condition: Fine. Inside pages are in good order. See photograph. Dims: 210mm x 145mm x 16mm. Author is the only person ever to be allowed access to the General Registry Office of England and Wales Marriage records for the period 1837-1899. The author then compared the records held at the GRO that people request relating to Family History and compared the information with original marriage registers held locally. He found a high percentage of differences between the two sets of records. Hence the books title. 177 pages. Seller Inventory # 000477
