The two volumes provide a self–teaching guide and tutorial for software engineers who desire to qualify themselves as Certified Software Development Professionals (CSDP) as described at the IEEE Computer Society Web site (www.computer.org/certification), while also gaining a fuller understanding of standards–based software development.
